If it gets too warm, retreat to the pergola-covered lounge area on the terrace. In the evening, take advantage of the island location and balmy weather by prepping local seafood on the barbecue and enjoying dinner at the table under the pergola. After the sun sets, catch a movie in the home theater, check email via Wi-Fi or challenge friends to a game at the foosball table.

The villa’s interiors are a welcoming mix of traditional and modern influences. From the outside, a tiled mansard roof and blue shutters have Mediterranean appeal, echoed on the inside by exposed ceiling beams. Multiple seating areas in the spacious living room feature a mix of styles, from William Birch sofas and slipper chairs to tuxedo sofas and carved-wood armchairs. Two dining areas let you choose between a casual or formal atmosphere for your meal, and the fully equipped state-of-the-art kitchen makes cooking a pleasure.

There are four bedrooms in the main house and additional rooms in the guest cottage; all have iPod docking stations. In the main house, there are two bedrooms with king beds, including a master suite with ensuite bathroom and jetted tub, one bedroom with a queen bed and another with two twin beds. The additional room in the guest cottage has a twin bed. An additional bunk room in the cottage, perfect for kids, has six twin beds.
