The Morne Trulah Estate is a veritable Mount Olympus: a 9-acre tract of unspoiled rain forest and tropical gardens, perched atop a mountain peninsula, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea and four pristine beaches!
Positioned at the centre of the compound is the Atrium, around which radiate four fully detached bedroom suites. The Atrium is a vast, covered, outdoor space where everyone tends to gather, where there is always a lovely breeze blowing through the open glass walls. The glass walls can be adjusted and screens pulled across the openings to control the strength of the breeze.
Positioned at the Southwestern corner of the compound, the SW Bedroom Suite has a wrap-around deck with a sunset view over Cuti Cove, Castries Harbour, and beyond to the Pitons– with access to the SW Garden Terrace. Wake up to a swarm of hummingbirds darting between the hibiscus shrubs and white flowering vines sipping their sweet nectar. Gracious and calm; supremely elegant; regal, relaxing, and restful.
Positioned at the Northeast corner of the residence, the Northeast Bedroom Suite has a wrap-around deck, access to the NE Garden Terrace and beautiful sunrise colours from the windows, through which a cooling breeze keeps you comfortable while you sleep– all the while listening to the sounds of waves crashing on the rocks at the mouth of Trou Ya below. The ambiance of this room is especially magical when sleeping with the sliding doors open to allow the white sound of the waves below to lull you to sleep.
Wake up to the spectacle of the sun rising between Morne Flambeau and Morne Pimard – drenching the sky in sumptuous colour and golden morning light. This is an especially good time to walk barefoot through the gardens.
Positioned at the Southeast corner of the residence, the SE Bedroom Suite welcomes each morning with the most spectacular sunrises between the peaks of the two adjacent mountains– Morne Flambeau and Morne Pimard - from its cantilevered deck, which lifts you up above the tree canopy to look down upon the beach at Trou Ya. Sleep with the windows open to allow the gentle breeze to waft over your skin while listening to the sound of the waves crashing upon the rocks and beach below.
A second deck accesses the SE Garden Terrace, with its tropical plantings providing privacy and seclusion. Sit here and look down through the valley into the heart of the island’s rainforest.
Positioned at the Northwestern corner of the residence, the NW Bedroom Suite has a wrap-around deck, access to the NW White Sand Beach and beautiful sunset colours, as viewed through the massive windows through which a cooling breeze blows to keep you comfortable while you sleep– all the while listening to the sound of the tree frogs chorus at dusk. The room has air conditioning and a private bathroom with shower.
Spend each day watching the waves crash against Barrel O’Beef Rock, whilst in the shade of the mimosa trees and Orchidarium. Retire each evening with spectacular sunsets over the water, catching the illusive “Green Flash”- given clear skies. Read and relax in a pair of armchairs which comfort you as you watch the sailing ships turn into Rodney Bay.
Whether enjoyed by yourself, the housekeepers, or your personal chef– Morne Trulah’s professionally equipped kitchen is likely to have everything one could possibly want or need to easily prepare unforgettable meals in the most beautiful of surroundings.
Spacious enough for a large family to come together and happily flow as everyone pitches in, the outdoor kitchen is a natural gathering place. Its size is also sufficient to serve the perfect stage for professional caterers of large events such as weddings and family reunions.
The Music Area is a great place for any amateur musicians in your group to congregate with drinks and share their talents and share a smile with friends.
