Decorated in a push eclectic style, Anthaus Megeve houses a colelction of antique furniture and farm ustensils from the region, as well as a varied collection of fine art and an original traditional meat smoking fireplace.
Within an hour drive from Geneva International Airport, Arthause Megeve has 9 bedrooms and ample living space. Offering all the comforts of luxury accommodation whilst maintaining the authentic cossiness anc charm of an Alpine mountain retreat. Set in a beautiful location on the edge of the forest, this private estate encompasses 10 hectares of fields and forests with an ancient apple trees and a wealth of wildlife on the doorstep.
The most striking attribute of Arthaus Megeve is the direct access to the ski slopes, a virtually unheard of advantage in Megeve. Guests can enjoy the wealth of slopes of the Domaine Evasion Mont Blanc and its amazing selection of On Piste restaurants from our doorstep, leaving their skis at the door after a long day of advenure to lounge by roaring open fire, drink in hand; or head off to town for dinner at the any of the award winning restaurants.
The Chalet is famous for its sports d'hiver; skiing, snow boarding and endless ski mountaineering opportunities in breath-taking settings as well as snow polo and golf tournaments. The buzzing Apres Ski experience in town is not to be misses. The summer months are also wonderful with activities including gold, tennis, horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking, as well as classical music concerts and a jazz festival.
All nine rooms in Arthouse Megeve are framed within the chalet's original old spruce beams, preserving the authentic warmth and character typical of Haute-Savoie. Each room offers an unique view of the picturesque Alpine surroundings, ranging in size from a cosy single to the master bedroom, equipped with both a spa bath and a steam room.
While Megeve offers all the advantages of a winter hiliday resort,it is equally popular as a summer destination. People from across the world reside here year round, menaing that cultural life is exhaustive no matter the season, and social events fill the calendar throughout the year.
