What makes Kyma so special? Quite easily: the amazing seafront location of the villa, quite unique in the whole region. Enjoy unobstructed sea and sunset views from the terrace, the infinity pool and the sunloungers platform, just a few meters above the shore. The Akrotiri peninsula is a quite unique spot in Crete. Only 20 minutes by car from the old venetian town of Chania, the peninsula has been largely spared by tourism. You will find no big hotels nor chinese or italian restaurants here, but many small traditional tavernas and exciting things to fill your days. From sandy beaches to old monasteries and hiking trails, the peninsula offers so many things to do... That is, if you find the motivation to leave the villa and its absolutely unique sea and sunset views. Many of our guests indeed had to come back because it's so tempting to just enjoy a drink at the pool and admire the enchanting scenery all day long. In these moments, you literally experience what huge difference it makes staying "front row" to the sea. The location is also ideal to perform exciting day trips, be it to the exquisite beaches of Balos, the old towns of Chania and Rethymnon, to hike the gorge of Samaras or discover the southern towns and creeks of Loutro and Marmara. Like many other guests, you may feel that one week is not enough... Our 5-star villa is nested in the rocky natural shoreline of Tersanas, just about 20 meters above sea level. It therefore offers 180° sea and sunset views unlike any you have ever experienced in a private property. 4 bedrooms have exceptional seaviews, while 1 has an amazing view on the white mountains. 3 of the bedrooms are equipped with double beds , while 2 bedrooms have 2 single beds. 3 bedrooms have en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), 1 has an en-suite bathtub and sink. The 5th bedroom does not have ensuite bathroom but is located just next to the standalone bathroom (with toilet, shower and bath). The small open living room on the entrance area has a sofa bed to welcome a child as 11th guest. Most of the guests just want to hang out in our private infinity pool. But if the sea is calm, the more adventurous guests can jump from the rocky shoreline and go for a swim or a dive in the sea, accessible over the rocks. With some luck, you might even spot dolphins or sea turtles. Apart from the main dining and sunloungers terrace next to the pool, there are 2 separate terrace areas on the first floor and a special terrace with a double sunlounger just about 10 meters above sea level. Here, you can enjoy utter tranquility, listen only to the waves and enjoy an immersive sea feeling . With ourcomprehensive range of fitness equipment, including Bowflex weights up to 24 kg and even a workout bench, along with many other equipment and yoga mats, you have the perfect setup for your fitness or Yoga/Pilates routines. All this while you soak in the most breathtaking sea view.
