The Deep Blu Villa with swimming pool cleverly integrates parents’ desire for togetherness by splitting sleeping quarters over two levels. The master bedroom suite boasts a private terrace with outdoor Jacuzzi, shaded outdoor lounge under a bamboo pergola and lofty views of the sea. Inside, an imposing king-size bed draped in white voile faces the Aegean. It backs on to a plastered white wall, behind which is the light-filled bathroom with a built-in bath made of polished concrete and a blue grotto: a separate polished stone shower alcove with photo-therapy effects. There are stone-carved ottomans with masses of soft pillows and hand-sculpted light fixtures.
A flight of stone steps leads down to the spacious living room, where large glass panels fold back to reveal the villa’s focal point: a shaded swimming pool that melds with the blue horizon. Combined living room and study boasts voluminous comfy sofas, long, polished stone bench, hand carved wooden desk and antique corner cabinet. A second double bedroom on the ground level has a spacious bathroom.
