Your stay at Rom Trai starts with a round-trip airport transfer and includes chef and housekeeping service. The waterfront villa has an infinity pool for lounging and a lap pool for exercise, a jetted tub and a large terrace with sitting and dining areas and a barbecue. Set the mood with indoor and outdoor sound systems, relax in the sauna and steam room, mix cocktails at the bar and entertain a crowd with a TV, DVD player, library and Wi-Fi. For convenience, the villa has an elevator and baby equipment is available on request.

The villa’s peaked roof and glass walls make for airy living spaces, and clean-lined furnishings add contemporary flair. A pair of tuxedo sofas and a Persian rug create a surprisingly cozy sitting area in the open living room, while woven chairs at the dining table and breakfast bar are a light touch of tropical style. Each of the four bedrooms at Rom Trai has a king bed and looks out over the ocean, providing a constant reminder that you’re by the beach. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms access to a private terrace; one of the terraces has its own jetted tub. The other two bedrooms share both a bathroom and a terrace with a jetted tub.

Plan on a 40-minute drive from Phuket International Airport to the villa. Once you’ve arrived at Samsara Estate, it’s a 5-minute drive to the clinic and town at Kamala, an 8-minute drive to dining and tennis at the Novotel Resort and a 10-minute drive to the Patong gym and grocery store. The golf course at the Phuket Country Club is 25 minutes away by car, the Bangkok Phuket Hospital, 30 minutes away, and a church, 40 minutes away. With several beaches neighboring the estate within a 10- to 20-minute walk, you’ll have plenty of shore to explore.
