Villa La Tavernaccia in Florence is an exquisitely restored estate built in the 18th century, surrounded by 32 acres of private garden and evergreen forest right in the prestigious Chianti countryside. La Tavernaccia is a haven of peace and privacy, richly endowed with all the comforts and facilities you expect from a luxury mansion, yet very close to all the main attractions of Tuscany.All the interiors have been renovated by a Italian designer, Ilaria Miani, who worked to ensure that the chic and historical soul of the villa happily coexisted with a modern and lively taste for colors, space, and light. All the furniture is chosen from an extensive collection of family antiquities, from inlaid Tuscan tables from the eighteenth century to Venetian wooden arm-chairs from the 1700s, and blended with unique contemporary furnishing and high-level amenities.Take a walk in the private park, following old Tuscan routes that offer the most spectacular views. Sip a cup of freshly-toasted coffee on the garden overlooking the unique skyline of Florence, from the Giotto’s Belltower to Brunelleschi’s Dome. When the sun is down, take a swim in the heated pool, the starry sky as your ceiling.Villa La Tavernaccia is eight kilometers away from the center of Florence and in the heart of Chianti, right beside the famous Wine Road. Thanks to its strategic position, you can reach all the major attractions of Tuscany in less than an hour.A few steps from the villa, you can find an elegant outdoor theater, embellished with period statues with a neoclassical vibe and surrounded by pruned trees and bushes. From its steps, you can enjoy the spectacular view of the center of Florence, with its unique Cathedral.If you are a sporting type, you can enjoy a proper tennis court surrounded by the greenery of the garden and sheltered from the wind by the tall trees. You can also use the two soccer goals on the sides of the court for a quick and funny soccer game. If you want to play one of the more traditional Italian games, there is also a pristine red clay court for a game of bowls.The tower is composed of a mezzanine and a top floor. The mezzanine consists of a double bedroom with en suite, while the high level is a spacious living room with four wide windows. All the spaces offer the same level of comfort and services as the rest of the villa.At the top of the tower, with 360-degree views of Chianti, Florence and the Appennine Mountains, this living room is the crowning jewel of the villa. you can even observe the seaside in the distance. The bamboo shades are motorized, the table and the daybeds are custom-made by our designer, as the stunning lamps.
