Behind every beautiful thing there is a vision, a deep belief that things are possible, and the dedicated work of the team. It is not any different with the Casa Bautista. It took the guts and the trust of the owner to follow through the project of six years, to go on the journey to protect the Sian Ka’an by developing the land in the most sustainable of ways. Furthering his vision of a sustainable living based on honoring our intrinsic values, he enlisted the help of a leading architecture firm Productora from Mexico City to work on the project. The result has seen this villa win the 2020 Wallpaper Design Awards. As a founder of the village Pueblo del Sol, in Oaxaca, and as with everything that he does, indigenous, local people come first. You can sense that intention and kindness transfered to experience of the house as well. Newly inaugurated Casa Bautista is tucked in the Sian Ka’an Biosphere, Tulum’s Unesco Heritage protected jungle, it is promising to be an ultimate experience in true sustainable luxury.
La Casa is created under the umbrella of Pueblo Del Sol, a project in Oaxaca that is committed to working with indigenous communities. You will have the taste of their highly rated gourmet coffee and honey brought straight to your table. Your stay supports the project. Located only 3km south of the Tulum gate, Casa Bautista is your private paradise still close enough to the civilization. You can chose to remain in your private jungle with no other people in sight, or do a quick drive (5 minutes) to the Tulum’s trendy area for some Nomad Chic sustainable fashion and creative Yucatan gastronomy
