Villa del Rio is a secret paradise that offers both an intimate retreat from the city and busyness of modern life, and a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion or host family and friends. The interior has the design of a traditional Andalusian holiday home which contains the strong influence from different cultures.
Villa del Rio is surrounded by a stunning verdant private garden gently sloping down to the Guadalmina river. As you walk around the outside of the house you will find pretty corners that provide a perfect setting for outdoor activities. Fruit trees such as orange, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, plum and persimmon, together with an orchard, add a special touch to the property.
What sets this exclusive and private getaway apart is the quality and authenticity of its antiques and furnishings, along with the natural splendour and historical atmosphere of its environment. With its understated elegance and rustic charm, the traditional estate offers the perfect retreat to unwind, meditate and be inspired, or entertain family and friends.
The sitting and dining room open directly onto a covered terrace with many shaded areas for relaxing in canvas and cane furniture.
The four main bedrooms are large with generously proportioned bathrooms, with a fifth smaller bedroom outside the main building with separate entrance. This bedroom with a little lower standard is ideal either for staff or two older children.
