Villa Kalyana provides everything you need for fun in the sun. Feel free to make use of the complimentary snorkeling gear, water toys and sea kayak as well as beach volleyball and badminton sets. Or walk along the curved wooden bridge over the swimming pool to the hammock island for a relaxing snooze. Enjoy some freshly grilled delicacies alfresco so you can keep breathing in the fresh sea air. Inside, you will find a home entertainment system, a games room with billiards and Wi-Fi access. The interiors of Villa Kalyana have been designed to resemble something between a modern loft-style condo and an ancient pagoda. The magnificent dining area with solid wooden tables that retain the original shape of the trees, with a backdrop of palm leaves, makes a majestic location to share an epic meal or some special news. The indoor lounge area with cozy rattan furniture and Thai sculptures seamlessly blend old and new.
A whopping fourteen bedrooms accommodate up to thirty-six adults plus sixteen children at this veritable tropical hamlet. All of the bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, smart TVs, iPod docks, mini bars and a variety of other luxury perks. The bedrooms are pristine, airy and finely appointed to suit your sense of elegance. The sea views from each are breathtaking.
If you are interested in taking in a little local culture, the Laem Sor Pagoda makes a great destination by the beach. A golden colored temple guarded by two yaks, visitors can make wishes by placing miniature boats in the large boat that carries a wax figure of the monk who built the Pagoda. Otherwise, you will be located in one of the lesser traveled areas of Koh Samui and, during your stay at Villa Kalyana, you may just feel like you have the island all to yourself!
