It is a short drive to two of the finest swimming spots in Kefalonia, Alatias Beach and Jerusalem Beach; both beaches have small tavernas next to them. A few minutes away is the traditional village of Maganos where there are inexpensive local tavernas offering traditional Kefalonia fare.
