The name 'Gomberts' is a tribute to the former owner of the land, a former Duke of Provence. The word "mas", on the other hand, has Provencal origins. At the time, the mas was used as a dwelling, but also as an agricultural building used for growing wheat, fruit and vegetables, and for rearing farmyard animals.
With this in mind, this rural building has been completely restored, retaining its charm thanks to its stone facade and perfectly landscaping its exterior with an olive grove, a vegetable garden and a field of lavender, so typical of Provence.
