Villa Le Rondini is a beautiful 17th-century villa in the heart of Chianti, Tuscany. Only three minutes on foot from the medieval village of Radda in Chianti, it enjoys a rare position where guests can walk for a morning coffee, a pizza or a gelato, visit local trattorie and enoteche, and return easily to the calm of the countryside.
Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, the villa was once a noble residence and an ancient watchtower used during the battles between Siena and Florence. It has been lovingly restored, almost rebuilt entirely, while preserving the authentic Tuscan aesthetic both inside and out. The stone facades, terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings remain faithful to tradition, complemented by modern comforts such as under-floor heating, cooling and a smart-home system.
Inside, the atmosphere is warm and refined. Each suite has its own colour and personality, and the living areas include a large kitchen, elegant dining rooms and inviting lounges where family and friends can gather. Beneath the old arches lies the cantina, an enchanting space for wine tastings or intimate dinners surrounded by the scent of oak and the quiet of history.
The gardens are wide and beautifully kept, with lawns, olive trees and flowering plants divided into peaceful corners. Guests can dine under shaded verandas, relax in the outdoor lounges or swim in the panoramic pool overlooking the hills. As evening falls, soft garden lighting turns the entire property into a magical setting.
At Villa Le Rondini we take pride in our personal attention to guests and the wonderful feedback we receive. Every stay is handled with a bespoke touch, offering comfort, authenticity and the timeless charm of Tuscan life.
