The lay-out of the villa complex recalls that of a small ancient hamlet complete with panoramic views, romantically framed corners, curious passageways and the solidity of a structure providing a sense of strength and protection. Encircling the villa is a well groomed garden of herbs and flowers, spreading slowly out towards the woods and mingling with the natural vegetation covering the surrounding landscape.
